It functions as a dual-purpose accessory combining a hair cover with an integrated headband to manage perspiration and secure positioning. Material selection focuses on performance under repetitive stress and exposure to workplace contaminants. The primary fabric is a 65% polyester / 35% cotton blend with a weight of 180 gsm, chosen for its balance of moisture wicking, dimensional stability after 50+ wash cycles at 60°C, and resistance to pilling. The headband section incorporates a 2cm wide elastic core (40% rubber, 60% nylon) encased in the same fabric blend to maintain consistent tension without deformation.

Dimensions are standardized to accommodate a range of head circumferences while ensuring full hair coverage. The scarf body measures 55cm in length and 22cm in width when laid flat, providing sufficient material to tuck and secure long hair. The integrated headband has an unstretched circumference of 50cm, stretching to a maximum of 68cm to fit head sizes from 52cm to 62cm. All seams are overlocked with 4-thread serging to prevent fraying and maintain integrity after repeated use.

Colorfastness is rated to ISO 105-B02 standard, with a minimum rating of 4 for both wet and dry rubbing after 20 wash cycles.
